Uber will no longer offer rides in Canada to limit the spread of coronavirus.
Uber will not be able to continue to offer its food delivery service, UberEats. But will offer its drivers two weeks of financial assistance for any employees diagnosed with COVID-19 that have to go into isolation for two weeks.
Starting next week Uber will not operate in 19 cities, including Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Montreal and Saskatoon.
Uber says that they will continue to monitor the situation closely.
