It’s a karting track for adults!
Start your engines! Race driver Alex Tagliani has posted new progress shots of the enormous go-kart structure coming to Sainte-Thérèse on the North Shore.
The TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre will feature a three-level, indoor course that Tagliani says will be the first of its kind in Canada, and it looks like something straight out of Mario Kart.
The course is built to accommodate children and adults with separate tracks, plus an additional option to combine them to form a “super track” of .5 kilometres, according to a November news release.

In total, there will be “six course choices, each of which can be completed clockwise or counterclockwise.”

Tagliani says the centre is for “thrill seekers who want to let off steam and get their adrenaline flowing.”

“The TAG E-karting & Amusement Centre will be the new generation recreational centre of choice, an exhilarating place for an outing with friends, colleagues, or family.”

The 65,000 square-foot centre will also include “a laser tag game arena, six axe-throwing lanes, six bowling lanes, a Triotech 7D interactive cinema, interactive trampolines, a multi-sensory virtual reality experience, numerous state-of-the-art arcades, and an interactive children’s wall.
It’s set to open in spring 2021.
