They can still get curbside pickup though.

At this point, more closures shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Canada‘s essential services list was revised, and one of the stores that didn’t make the cut was Canadian Tire. It will now only be offering curbside pickup and delivery.
In an April 4 press release, the company stated that effective at business closing time, their locations would only be offering delivery or curbside pickup of online orders.
The announcement follows a new set of rules from the Government about how essential services can serve the public.
The Emergency Order update states that stores that sell “Hardware products, Vehicle parts and supplies, Pet and animal supplies, Office supplies and computer products including computer repair, and Safety supplies” can stay open but must provide alternative methods of sale.
The Canadian Tire release also states that all stores in Canada will remain closed to the public for at least 14 days as per the new order.
Stores in all provinces of Canada will be closed .
