Just when we thought that the recalls had finally stopped, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency issues another recall statement. CFIA is recalling cauliflower, red and green lettuce products sold across Canada.
CFIA is announcing cauliflower, red leaf lettuce and green leaf lettuce from the United States sold in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland could be contaminated with E. coli bacteria.
The produce in question was grown in the United States by Adam Bros. Farming Inc.in Santa Maria, California.
The products were sold across the Canadian provinces listed above but could have also been sold in other provinces as well.
The CFIA has stated that if you believe you’ve become sick from consuming a recalled product, please contact your doctor.
Make sure to check to see if you have the recalled products in your home.
If you do have recalled produce, make sure it is thrown away or returned to the store.
